My Water-Wise Garden Featured in National Catalog!

Just had to share!  My water-wise garden was featured in a national gardening catalog’s blog!

High Country Gardens is a well-known catalog that has been around for many years and specializes in water-wise plants for climates like ours.  We (HCG and I) share a similar philosophy that a water-wise or xeric garden can be more than just sand and decorative rock.  It can be everything you’ve dreamed about in a lush garden, if you do a little planning and have an understanding of how a garden comes together.

The purpose of my website and this blog is to teach you all that I have learned from gardening in tough climates.  There are many misperceptions about what makes a garden water-wise, organic and sustainable.  I hope you’ll continue to follow along in this blog and you will quickly learn that it can be easy to accomplish.

My goal is to give you easy, timely information to help make organic gardening easier.  And fun.   And help you reap the benefits in your garden and in your life.

As you focus on the health and life of your garden, you’ll notice a wonderful change in your own health and life focus.  What you need are the same things your garden needs.  A lot of water, good organic food, some sunshine and fresh air.

Here’s the link so you can read the entire article.  I’ve added a comment box so after reading this article, you can ask questions and share your thoughts.  I’ll be following up with answers to your questions, and more particularly…..tell you how I built my garden.

 In sync with nature,
